It's all good if you CAN go USA but im too young and too poor *sniff*.And it's difficult to spread the word to people who, umm, dislike michale for various reasons.Worse thing is some of them are right.But it still doesnt stop him from being a kick ass singer, even if he is a little *shudder* emo. Anywho where am i meant to get the stuff from?Shirts are impossible to get without shipment of which i aint got no money to pay for let alone be patient enough to wait for. I can spread the music but all i get in return is it either sickeningly emo or suspiciously similar to Nirvana.We really need to get him over here and bring his merch with him because musics always better live than overproduced in a studio.All we need to do is milk how he used to be a MIsfit or say it is the Misfits with plastic surgery and a new album.Job Jobbed.

Good news to hear.

No offence, but you don't have to have mohawks and dress in tartan trousers to be a punk.

Chances are, that it will depend on the sales figures throughout Europe of Punk Rock is Dead and Return to Earth which will determine how soon Michale tours overseas. If record sales are low, there is no incentive or motivation to risk the expense envolved in touring overseas. If sales are great, then it is likely that Horror High would sponsor a European tour. So buy the Music and the merch...and send letters to Horror High telliing them to promote their artists and promote a tour in Europe. Also keep in mind that these guys have day jobs and can't always just leave for 3 to 5 months to head to Europe at the drop of a hat. Remember this is a indy label punk rock band were talking about, not one with major label MTV exposure, despite Michale's notoriety and past History with the Misfits. If you want to see him bad enough, you can always get a passport and buy a plane ticket to the U.S. It all depends on just HOW bad you want to see him play I guess.

They don't sell Michale's merch in England, the closest you'll get, is a Misfits shirt.

I live in WOlverhampton, so I'm in Birmingham alot, and I know they dont sell Michale'sstuff there.

Come to think of it, they probably don't sell his stuff in any shops in America (apart from maybe cd's)

And its okay saying get a passport and come over here, some of us don't have that much money.

It can't be about the money for Graves,  cos' he had a tour booked for the UK for the PRID album.

It could just be about the fact that hardly any of them can get the time to come over, Michale's year looks pretty packed to be honest, and so does J-sins (If he gets the new MM album out that is)

But, BUT, have no fear, as  I have heard it 'through the grapevine', that Graves WILL be over this year, most likely in the summer.

 

If that happens, I will happily sexually pleasure anyone on this board.

 

Ok....just so you get the picture, it's not any different here with merch and cds....You have to buy it through mailorder. Horror High is a SMALL independant label. Distribution is lacking and it is just as hard if not  impossible to find any of Michales solo stuff or merch in a record store. So everyone has to pay the shipping....you should all be thankful the discs and merch are priced well below the average, therefore making the xtra shipping costs not that much extra when you really think about it.

Regarding the whole point I was trying to make about the passport thing is this....Michale is not wealthy!!!!! It is just as expensive for him to travel overseas as it is for you. Regardless of what you believe, he does not make very much money per show.....aprox $100.00 U.S, is his 5th of the booking fee if he's lucky. My suggestion to all of you is simple, if you want to see him there, contact his booking agent and get involved with booking a show for a European tour. If there is enough interest and a full tours worth of venues, then I am sure it will happen!

I'm not saying his intentions are not sincere, what I am am saying is that even with the best intentions, shit happens. Small independant bands have a very difficult time touring other countries, regardless of whether they are from the US, UK, Japan, or Russia. There are bands from your side of the pond that I wish I could see or could have seen but never came to the US, or if they came the shit fell apart halfway through... it sucks I agree. That's why all I can say is book the damn tour yourself then.

When I wanted Michale to come back to my city, I booked the show. I paid my own money to promote the show, if I did'nt he was'nt gonna come to my town. I put my money where my mouth was and brought him to my city/state. We also had him booked last time he toured, but the shitty van broke down the day of our show and it was cancelled along with the rest of the tour, because why? Shit happens! There are no guarantees, but you can increase the odds if you take control of the situation and do what is necessary to make sure Michale comes to your town. Thats all I can say...Good luck,

Yeah,  I know that, All I'm saying is, it's alot easier to book a band in your home coutry, then to book a band from a different coutry to play your home time. ALOT harder.

Michale should play in Eastbourne (Haha) or possibly Hastings (in THE CRYPT how appropriate) i could probable get a few contacts together and talk to a few people i could even arrange support bands that come with built in Audience (Her Name in Blood and H8ball most likely) but i have the minor problem of being in Australia (Doheth).
